Death probe at mental health unit
The sudden death of a patient at a secure mental health unit is being investigated by police in Manchester.

The 28-year-old man died at the Edenfield unit on Bury New Road in Prestwich, Bury, on Friday 28 May.

The Bolton, Salford and Trafford Mental Health Partnership, which runs the unit, confirmed it was helping police with their inquiries.

Police said an post-mortem examination was inconclusive and they have not yet established the cause of death.

A second post-mortem examination is due to take place.
