Woman 'may have been raped'
Police believe a woman found partially clothed and disorientated might have been raped after her drink was spiked.

The 20-year-old was found in the early hours of Sunday, bruised and unable to remember what had happened to her.

She was last seen getting into a taxi outside a pub in Withington at about 2330 BST last Saturday, before being found with injuries an hour later.

On Thursday Greater Manchester Police said the woman may have been attacked by two men.

We cannot rule out her drink may have been spiked either whilst she was at the party or in the pub
Detective Inspector John Lyons
The woman went with a friend to the pub - Rubinski's in Wilmslow Road - at about 2130 BST, after leaving a house party in Fallowfield.

After her friend saw her trying to get into a black cab, the victim disappeared.

She was found an hour later in the car park behind the Moon restaurant in Wilmslow Road.

The victim, from Flixton, has been unable to tell police how she ended up in the car park.

Detective Inspector John Lyons said: "We cannot rule out that her drink may have been spiked either whilst she was at the party or in the pub.

"We would like to hear from anyone who saw her between 2330 BST and 0030 BST and can help us find out where she went."

The victim is of Mediterranean appearance, about 5ft 6ins tall, with long dark curly hair.

She was wearing baggy denim combat trousers, a black halter-neck top and black shoes with pink and yellow ribbons that tied around her ankles.

Anyone who saw her should contact CID at Elizabeth Slinger Road police station or ring Crimestoppers.
