A 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of the murder of a teenager shot in north London has been released on bail. Sharmaarke Hassan was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Gilbeys Yard, Camden, late on Saturday night. The 17-year-old, from Camden, died in hospital on Wednesday. He was the 15th London teenager to be killed in a shooting or stabbing this year. The 16-year-old, who was arrested on Thursday, has been bailed until August pending further inquiries. Police believe Sharmaarke was a member of The Money Squad, one of a number of Somali gangs in the area. He was found guilty of possessing cannabis and offering to supply the drug last month. He also had convictions for breaching the terms of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) and for stealing a 2,000 Cartier watch. The Asbo was imposed on 2 November and banned him from Buck Street in Camden, less than half a mile from where he was shot.
