Jurors trying seven youths accused of murdering a teenager in east London have retired to consider their verdict.

Paul Erhahon, 14, was stabbed in an unprovoked attack by a 17-strong-gang in Leytonstone, last April, the Old Bailey heard.

Prosecutors allege that Paul was killed by young gang members who wanted to "earn their spurs" in the group.

Seven defendants aged 14 to 19, who cannot be named, deny murder, attempted murder and wounding with intent.
