Teenager killed in car gun attack
Police search the scene in Plumstead
Operation Trident is investigating the murder
A teenager has died after two gunmen opened fire into a car in south-east London.

Two 18-year-olds were sitting in a silver Ford Fiesta in Long Walk, Plumstead, when they were shot on Sunday night at about 2200 BST.

One died and the other teenager suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

He becomes the 21st teenager to have died as a result of a knife or gun-related crime in London this year.

Operation Trident, which looks at gun crime in London's Afro-Caribbean community, is investigating the killing.
