Youth stabbed to death on estate
A teenager died when he was stabbed on a housing estate in south-east London.

Police said the victim, who is thought to be aged 19, was with a friend when he was attacked on the Crawford Estate in Camberwell on Sunday night.

Officers found the youth near Barnet House with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital but died soon after.

Det Ch Insp Steven Lawrence said it was "a tragic case of another young life lost" and urged community members to contact them with information.

DCI Lawrence said: "We are still in the process of trying to piece together the exact circumstances which have led to a man losing his life.

"We understand that the victim was with a friend on the Crawford Estate at the time of the attack."
