The latest maps give wider coverage

The 14 maps help riders identify the shortest routes or quiet roads in any part of the city as well as stations with parking for cycles.

All London Cycle Guide routes have been ridden and recommended by experienced riders.

The launch comes a month before London Freewheel when people can cycle a 14km traffic-free route in central London.

Charlie Lloyd, of the London Cycling Campaign which helped create the maps, said they provided a useful aid to cyclists.

"The wider coverage of the new edition cycle guides is exactly what we need."

The maps are available from the TfL website.
