Shocking images of children brought up in overcrowded housing are being shown on the London Underground to raise commuters' awareness of child poverty. Digital poster screens of youngsters trapped in squalid conditions will appear at three Tube stations.
The homeless charity Shelter said it wants to show what life is like for some 400,000 children in the city.
The images will appear by escalators at Tottenham Court Road, Charing Cross and Paddington underground stations.
The charity wants the government to build 20,000 extra social homes each year around the UK to tackle the housing crisis.
