Seven face trial over boy's death

Seven teenagers are to face a trial over the murder of 14-year-old Paul Erhahon who was stabbed to death.

Paul died from a stab wound to the heart he suffered in the entrance to a block of flats in Leytonstone, east London, on 6 April.

Theo Diah, 18, of Anglian Road, Leytonstone, one boy aged 13, two aged 14, two aged 15 and a 17-year-old are charged with murder.

They were remanded in custody until a hearing at the Old Bailey in September.

The court heard the trial will not take place before 14 January 2008.

The accused also face charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm against a 15-year-old boy.
