A woman has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Sian Simpson in south-east London. Miss Simpson was stabbed through the heart during an attack in Mann Close, Croydon, on Tuesday night.
Chelsea Bennett, also 18, of London Road, Croydon, appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court.
A woman who was being questioned in connection with the killing has been released on police bail until 4 July pending further inquiries.
Miss Bennett was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 27 September.
