Six boys, including an 11-year-old, are due to appear in court accused of the death of a pensioner on a tennis court.

Ernest Norton, 67, was on an outdoor court in Erith, south-east London, near a group of youths when he suffered a heart attack and died on 25 February.

A 13-year-old has been accused of manslaughter while five youths, aged 11 to 13, are accused of violent disorder.

Post-mortem tests showed Mr Norton suffered a heart attack aggravated by a previous condition and a head injury.

The sixth boy, aged 13, faces a charge of violent disorder.

The six will appear at Bexley Youth Court on 1 November.
