Damilola bled to death in Peckham from a leg wound
The jury selected for the trial of two brothers accused of killing schoolboy Damilola Taylor have been sworn in at the Old Bailey.

The 10-year-old was found bleeding to death in the stairwell of a Peckham housing estate in November 2000.

Danny and Rickie Preddie, both 18, and from Peckham in south London, deny the charge of manslaughter.

Opening statements from the defence and prosecution lawyers are expected to begin on Monday.

In 2002, four other youths went on trial for Damilola's murder but the case against two collapsed while the other two were acquitted.
