Camera finds 'cannabis factories'
Met Police raiding one of the properties
Two properties were raided
A handheld heat-seeking camera has been used to track down two houses where police think cannabis was being grown.

Officers raided two properties in Haringey, north London, after using the devices, which are being piloted by the borough's force.

Scotland Yard said the cameras can detect high-level heat sources, which are used to make the plants grow, making houses appear "white-hot".

Police seized cannabis and drug paraphernalia. A man was arrested.

Sergeant Ian Pyles, who lead the operation said: "Drugs can ruin lives and we are determined to improve the borough for the benefit of everyone."
