A teacher accused of performing sex acts in front of teenage girls during exams has been cleared of any wrong doing. Shay Kernaghan, 27, a business studies tutor at a London Muslim school said he may now leave the profession.
The teacher, now of County Tyrone, was cleared of eight sex charges.
He told Southwark Crown Court that DNA traces on class furniture were the result of having sex with his fiance after school in the classroom.
Four of the charges were that he abused a position of trust by engaging in sexual activity other than sexual intercourse and the other four were that he committed an act of lewd, obscene and disgusting nature.
Outside the court Mr Kernaghan said: "There is a very good chance I won't go back to teaching."
