Buckingham Palace voted 'eyesore'
Tate Modern
The Tate Modern was voted London's greatest building.
Buckingham Palace has been voted one of the worst eyesores in London.

It joins Elephant and Castle shopping centre, in south-east London, and central London's Centre Point, in Time Out magazine's buildings survey.

The South Bank's Tate Modern, the power station converted into an art gallery, was voted London's favourite building, followed by the Houses of Parliament.

Other favourite landmarks included Battersea Power Station and St Mary's Axe, known as the "gherkin".

The National Gallery Sainsbury Wing, built in 1991, the National Theatre, Tower Bridge and Westminster Cathedral were also named among the capital's least favourite buildings by the magazine's readers.
