Child's bedroom
Four handguns were found among the teddies and toys
A weapons stash including a pump action shotgun and more than 60 rounds of ammunition have been found in a child's bedroom during a police raid.

Four handguns, two of which were loaded, were also hidden among teddy bears and toys in the bedroom at a home in Elephant and Castle, south London.

Detectives from Operation Trident, which investigates gun crime in the black community, carried out the raid.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms.

She is being held at a south London police station.

Det Chief Supt John Coles, said: "This is just one of a number of ongoing operations of this nature.

"We hope that by identifying the suppliers of weapons, we will have a dramatic impact on shootings in London."
