Young people in London are being given the chance to mark Anne Frank's 75th birthday by signing a new declaration challenging prejudice and hatred. An exhibition about the Jewish girl's life is on display at City Hall alongside the interactive declaration.
Anne wrote a diary while in hiding from the Nazis in Holland. She was captured and died in a concentration camp.
At the two-day event beginning 13 July, authors will read from the diary and a short film about Anne will be shown.
The Anne Frank Declaration is a document that builds on Anne Frank's vision and diary.
It honours all children killed through wars and persecution in the last hundred years.
World statesmen Nelson Mandela and Kofi Annan have already signed the Declaration to express their solidarity with her ideals.
Anne died aged 15, in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945.
Her diary was first published in 1947 and has been translated into dozens of languages read by millions of people worldwide.
