Cannabis in box
The cannabis and cocaine was in the boxes false bottoms
Drugs with a street value of almost �1m , smuggled into the UK in boxes of vegetables, have been seized at a warehouse by customs officers.

Cocaine with a street value of �650,000 and cannabis worth more than �300,000 was found in false bottoms of boxes of peppers in Southall, west London

They were on a freight flight from Ghana to Heathrow on Wednesday and were going to Smithfield Market, Manchester.

The identity of the intended recipient and the senders is being investigated.

The customs officers, part of a specialist freight team at the airport, inspected the boxes shortly after they arrived in the UK.
