Gallery to motivate young people

A motivational photo gallery highlighting high achievers from the black and ethnic minority community is to tour London schools and youth clubs.

The gallery, produced by Business and Education London South (BELS), features photos, biographies, and inspirational quotes of 40 different professionals.

Producer Floella Benjamin, news anchor George Alagiah and actor Rudolph Walker are among those featured.

The gallery will be launched on Monday at London's City Hall.

It is made up of 40 mobile display units which are eight feet high by two feet wide.

The gallery will tour schools and youth clubs across London, beginning in the six south London boroughs.

It has been produced as a result of a �55,000 grant BELS received from the Big Lottery Fund.
