A 24-year-old has denied shooting a man dead as he left a nightclub in central London. Andrew Wanoghu, of Gisterwood Street, Deptford, south London, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Damian Cope when he appeared at the Old Bailey.
He was remanded in custody on Wednesday until his trial begins on 16 August.
Mr Cope, 22, died after being shot in the stomach as he left Browns nightclub in Holborn during the early hours of 29 July 2002.
