Man in court over body parts find
A 34-year-old man has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of murder following the discovery of a dismembered body at a flat in east London.

Peter Bryan, whose address was given as Topaz Ward, Newham General Hospital, spoke only to confirm his name during the five-minute hearing.

He was remanded in custody until a plea and directions hearing on 22 April.

The remains of Brian Cherry, 45, were found at his home at Manning House, Walthamstow, on 17 February.
