Artwork will be displayed online |
An "instant art gallery" opens in east London on Thursday, despite having nothing to display as yet. Graphic artists, designers and film-makers are asked to bring in digital pictures or short films on disc to the Hype Gallery, in Brick Lane.
Anyone can contribute and the first work to arrive will be the first to be displayed. The gallery will remain a white space until then.
Once full, the gallery's exhibits will be taken down and replaced.
The only rule is that each piece of work must be inspired by a word or phrase containing the letters H and P.
Work can also be submitted through the gallery's website.
The gallery will be open for four weeks and work will also be shown on the project's website.
Opening times are from 1200 GMT until 1500 GMT and 1700 GMT until 2000 GMT Monday to Friday.
At weekends it is open from 0900 GMT to 1700 GMT.
