Delays continue on London trains
South West Trains
About 80,000 people use SWT to get to Waterloo each morning
Passengers are warned that disruption to train services to London Waterloo is likely to continue until Thursday.

Some tracks were closed and services were cancelled, re-routed or delayed after a 14-ton crane fell onto tracks on Sunday.

Delays on South West Trains (SWT) services from the South East and the West into London are expected to last until 0500 GMT on Thursday.

About 80,000 people use SWT to get into Waterloo in the morning rush hour.

Several tracks between Waterloo and Clapham Junction are still closed but SWT tickets are being accepted on some other routes.

SWT said it was working as hard as possible to minimise the disruption caused to passengers.

People are advised to contact National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50 for more information.

M25 DELAYS
Junctions 12-15 are affected
Widening seven miles of motorway will cost 147m
Speed limits of 40mph will apply
Cones have also gone up on a seven-mile stretch of the M25 in west London, before work begins later this week to widen the motorway.

The roadworks are expected to cause motorists delays for the next two years.

The 147m project to widen the motorway from four to five lanes between junctions 12 and 14 and from four to six from junction 14 to 15.

Four lanes will remain in use each way, but a 40mph speed limit imposed as they will be narrower than usual.

According to AA Roadwatch nearly 250,000 vehicles a day use the section - more than twice the number it was designed for.

A slip road into the new Terminal 5 (T5) at Heathrow is also being constructed.

Delays are also likely to affect the M4, M3, A3, A30 and A308.
