Money is stolen from circus camp

Thieves have stolen a large amount of money from a circus in Lincolnshire.

About 20,000 in cash was taken from Hoffman's Circus in the early hours at its winter home on Lincoln Road in Honington, near Grantham.

The thieves are believed to have forced open the door of a caravan and found the money in a drawer before making their escape.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw suspicious behaviour at the camp or has other information to contact them.
