Lorry hits corner of post office

No-one is thought to have been injured in the incident

A lorry has hit a post office in part of Lincoln, police confirmed.

A spokeswoman for Lincolnshire Police said the vehicle hit the corner of the premises on Bailgate at about 1035 BST.

Emergency services are at the scene but no-one is thought to have been injured. Eyewitnesses reported seeing debris falling from the building.

The scene has been cordoned off. Traffic is being diverted along Westgate and drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
