Police name fatal tree crash men
Two men who died when their car hit a tree on a Lincolnshire road have been named by police.

Dean Chevalier, 20 from Grantham was driving the car when it hit the tree on Five Gates Lane at Londonthorpe near Grantham at 0040 BST on Monday.

Passenger Matthew Prothero, 23, from Newark, also died at the scene. Two other passengers were treated for minor injuries at Grantham Hospital.

The crash brings the death toll on the county's roads up to 29 this year.

Police said they though the Peugeot Mr Chevalier was driving left the road on a left-hand bend before hitting the tree.

But officers said they still wanted to hear from anyone else who may have seen the Peugeot in the minutes leading up to the crash.
