Club manager's fraud trial begins | | Boston United manager Steve Evans and four other people connected with the football club have gone on trial over fraud charges at a London court. Club general manager John Blackwell, former chairman Pat Malkinson and ex-club accountants Brian James and Ian Lee were at Southwark Crown Court. They all deny conspiracy to cheat the public revenue. The first evidence in the case is expected to be heard on Monday. The trial continues.
