Details of a turnaround plan to restore the finances of Lincolnshire's debt-ridden hospitals will be released at a public meeting in Grantham. Health managers will present the proposals on 27 June in Grantham.
The details are being released after months of speculation about the number of cutbacks necessary to tackle the county's NHS debt of 17.5m.
The Lincolnshire United NHS Hospitals Trust has refused to reveal any details about the plans prior to the meeting.
Job fears
A memo leaked to BBC News in May indicated overnight accident and emergency services at some hospitals might be cancelled to save money.
It suggested the A&E services would move from hospitals in Skegness and Grantham to Lincoln County Hospital, but managers refused to confirm the move.
The trust has already announced that 29 senior hospital management posts will be scrapped as part of the plans. A spokesperson said the management restructure will save around 1.6m each year.
The union Unison has warned there could be as many as 1,000 health jobs lost.
Unison spokesman Peter Savage said the uncertain situation in the NHS in Lincolnshire has made life difficult for health workers.
Health bosses need to reduce debts of 17.5m and stem the current overspend of almost 2.5m a month.
