| Homeless people in Lincoln have been treated to a three-course meal and a haircut by catering and hairdressing students at the city's college. The students volunteered to practise their skills and help a group of men from the Nomad Night Shelter which neighbours the college in Monks Road. The shelter, run by the Nomad Trust, provides support for the homeless. Barbra Plunkett from the college said she hopes closer links will be forged between the two organisations.
