Two charged over road death girl
Lucy Bellamy
Lucy's death led to a campaign for road safety improvements
Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the death of a nine-year-old pedestrian killed in a road accident on the Lincs coast.

Lucy Mae Bellamy died after the three-car collision on the A52 at Winthorpe in August.

Andrew Wilkinson, 19, of Holme Drive, Sudbrooke, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

His passenger, Neil Russell, also 19, of Wragby Road, Sudbrooke, was charged with perverting the course of justice.

Both will appear at Skegness Magistrates on Tuesday 22 November.

Lucy Bellamy's death resulted in a campaign being set up to get safety improvements on the road.

Lincolnshire County Council said it was looking into the concerns of the residents but was still waiting for the outcome of any further investigations.
