A housing estate in Lincolnshire is to get a full-time worker to help community development. The post of community warden on the Earlsfield estate in Grantham had been originally been temporary.
Created as a two-year-long experiment by South Kesteven District Council, it saw a reduction in poor behaviour on the estate.
Sandra Mullins has been made permanent in the role, in recognition of the progress she had made.
She said: "It can only get better. We've started two years chipping away on the Earlsfield.
"There's some exciting new projects coming up, we've a lot of good work still to come up so watch this space."
