A billboard campaign is being launched in Lincolnshire to promote wind energy in the county. The boards labelled 'Ooh, Ah and Wow' are being installed in Lincoln, Boston, Grantham, Skegness and Gainsborough.
They encourage people to show their support to wind turbines by signing an online petition.
Plans for many wind farms face opposition from local residents because of fears they will be an eyesore and spoil the landscape.
Alison Hill from the British Wind Energy Association said: "There are some people who really don't like wind turbines, like some people don't like Marmite.
"These are the people who write letters and phone radio stations whenever wind farms are discussed.
"We are actually trying to motivate that majority who don't usually say anything and trying to get them to say what they like about wind power."
