Concern over shortage of dentists
A Lincolnshire MP has written to the Health Secretary about the serious shortage of NHS dentists in the county.

Douglas Hogg, MP for Sleaford and North Hykeham, says there are no practices in the area taking on new NHS patients.

He has written to John Reid asking for Primary Care Trusts in the county to be allowed to pay more than the standard contract to attract new dentists.

Mr Hogg says Tony Blair has failed to deliver his pledge that everybody would have access to NHS dental treatment.
