Bid to cut illegal firework sales
Children in Lincolnshire are being sent into shops suspected of illegally selling fireworks to under-18s in a bid to stop the practice.

Trading Standards says any retailers selling fireworks to them could be fined up to 5,000.

Officers will be issuing 80 fixed penalties to underage children caught in possession of fireworks.

Using fireworks is illegal after 11pm, except on Bonfire Night, New Year's Eve, Chinese New Year and Diwali.
