Waste recycling centre re-opens
Lincoln's waste recycling centre officially re-opens on Monday after a major refurbishment.

Council officials say the site on Great Northern Terrace is easier to use and hope it will improve recycling rates.

The recycling banks have been put near the entrance and the stairs to the top of the recycling banks have been replaced with a ramp.

It is hoped the redevelopment will help Lincoln reach the government target of recycling 36% of all waste by 2006.
