A teenager and a man are recovering after getting into difficulty in inflatable dinghies off the Lincolnshire coast. The two boats were blown out to sea by strong winds at Ingoldmells Point at about 1130 BST on Sunday.
The 23-year-old man managed to swim back to the shore but the 16-year-old was rescued by a man passing in a boat.
The pair who are from Manchester, were taken to hospital by ambulance as a precautionary measure.
Lifeboat crews say it is the first incident of its kind so far this year and a timely reminder for people to be careful in the use of inflatables.
In 2003 there were 69 rescues involving inflatables off the nearby resort of Skegness.
