Keith Alexander says he does not get ill too often |
Lincoln City manager Keith Alexander says he is keen to return to work after suffering a brain haemorrhage. He revealed he had to be brought back to life three times after collapsing with a double aneurysm in November.
The Imps boss underwent complex surgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. In an exclusive interview, he told BBC Radio Lincolnshire the experience changed his outlook on life.

He is now recovering at home after leaving Lincoln County Hospital. He said: "Apparently I was gone three times while I was in the first hospital. You do come out with different thoughts.
"You sit there and you think how you're doing things and sometimes you only get one chance with the job that you're doing - and I shall be trying to bring that home to various people."
Although he says he was "very fortunate" to have had the treatment he received in Sheffield, he says he is just regaining his memory.
"It's only been in the last few weeks my memory's started to come back and I remember virtually everything."
His parents came over from St Lucia to be with him during his illness and other family members arrived from London.
He described his illness as "a terrible circumstance for everyone really - I'm not a sort of person who gets ill too often."
Now Mr Alexander, who is married with children, says he now hopes to get back to work at Sincil Bank as soon as he can.
