A painting marking the Queen's 80th birthday has gone on display at a Leicester museum. The watercolour portrait by Rolf Harris, commissioned by the BBC to mark the occasion, took two months to complete and was finished in 2005.
The painting will be on show at the city council's New Walk Museum and Art Gallery until 25 February.
Curator Simon Lake said housing the artwork was a special honour for the museum and the city of Leicester.
The painting is one of more than 130 official portraits which have been made of the Queen throughout her life.
The 100cm x 50cm portrait was based on two sittings and was completed at the artist's own studio.
Harris previously described the portrait as reflecting her "warm personality", rather than being a formal study.
