A London Olympics 2012 roadshow has visited the East Midlands to ensure local communities and businesses understand how they can benefit. Later Olympians and representatives advised firms interested in bidding for contracts and tell people how they can become volunteers.
The roadshow stopped at Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Derby.
The bus left London on 6 July - the first anniversary of London winning the bid to host the games.

Olympic gold medallist Jonathan Edwards and Chair of the Olympic Delivery Authority Jack Lemley are two of the big names coming to the East Midlands.
The roadshow will visit 50 locations across the UK with its journey ending in Liverpool exactly six years before the opening ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell said: "2012 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we have got to make sure everyone can see the benefits and feel part of this extraordinary event."
Sebastian Coe, chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, added: "We hope this roadshow will help people to appreciate just how inspirational the Games can be and the relevance they can have for them and their local communities."
