Stickers warn students of theft
"Virtual Thieves" have been operating at the University of Leicester.

Special teams will place high visibility warning stickers when mobile phones are left on tables, or a bag out of sight.

The "Virtually Stolen" sticker features advice on how to prevent being becoming a future victim of theft.

The Home Office scheme is a bid to reduce the number of students affected - nationally one in three are a victim of crime while at university.
