Labels helped to cut shed crimes
A project designed to cut the number of thefts from sheds and garages in Coalville is being hailed a success.

The "wrap around labels" were handed out to by the North West Leicestershire Partnership in Safer Communities' Team in November last year.

The scheme has proved to be a deterrent to thieves, and is credited with cutting offences by 18% in nine months.

The stickers are used to mark bikes, power tools and gardening equipment with a postcode and house number.
