Sean Wilson
Sean Wilson has duped women he befriended, police said
A man who befriends women before duping them out of thousands of pounds is being hunted by Leicestershire police.

Officers from Coalville have released a photograph of 35-year-old Sean Wilson, who is wanted for a number of deceptions in the county.

He has posed as a wealthy businessman to deceive women out of thousands of pounds, police said.

Mr Wilson has also been known to open accounts with businesses, order items and provide false invoice addresses.

His last known address was in the Moira area of Leicestershire but he has not visited the address for sometime.

Pc Melanie Fisher who is investigating the incidents said: "We've been carrying out extensive enquiries to locate Wilson.

"I am sure someone knows where he is and I am urging anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible."

Update March 2018: Sean Wilson pleaded guilty at Leicester Crown Court in April 2005 and was subsequently given a suspended prison sentence.
