Airport looks for new recruits
Nottingham East Midlands Airport is hoping to fill around 300 vacancies as it copes with the increasing pace of expansion.

The airport already employs 7,000 staff and is running free coaches to a jobs fair to attract people from across the region.

The recruitment drive, to be held later this month, is aimed at filling posts at the Castle Donnington site.

Airport managers say their aim is to keep up with the pace of expansion.

Spokesperson Lindsey White said: "The airport is growing so rapidly at the moment we are expecting more and more passengers through our doors this summer.

"There will be a variety of jobs on offer at the jobs fair.

"This includes freight handling, customers services, working in the terminal, baggage handling, all sorts of jobs."

The fair will be held on 28 February.
