Boy's memory inspires safety video
Tyler Deacon
Tyler Deacon died at the scene
Friends and family of a 15-year-old boy killed by a train are hoping to make a safety video to warn others to stay away from the tracks.

Tyler Deacon died after playing on a railway line by Gypsy Lane in Northfields in Leicestershire on 3 December 2003.

Now relatives and school friends are meeting with the authorities to discuss making the safety video.

People living close to the spot said children often played on the lines.

The Railway Health and Safety Executive and British Transport Police are being consulted over the video.

An assembly in his memory was held at Soar Valley College - where he was a pupil - last month.

Barriers have now been erected at the site of Tyler's death to prevent any more children getting on the tracks.
