Crackdown on sale of stolen goods
Four people have been arrested at a car boot sale as part of a crackdown on burglary and the sale of stolen goods.

Plain clothed and uniformed officers went to the sale in Bottesford, Leicestershire.

The people arrested come from Loughborough, Mansfield, Nottingham and Cardiff.

Three were reported for offences against the Trade Mark Act and a fourth was bailed pending further inquiries.

Officers also seized a car and recovered a handheld air pistol.

The visit was part of Operation Catch 'Em - a joint initiative between Leicestershire Police and Trading Standards officers.

Police are emphasising only a minority of car boot traders operate dishonestly.
