Boys admit bingo hall arson
Two teenagers who admitted burning down a disused bingo hall have been warned they could face custody.

The 13-year-old and 15-year-old, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to arson when they appeared before the Leicester Crown Court.

The 495,000 Roxy Bingo and Social Club in Fullhurst Avenue, Braunstone, was destroyed as a result of the pair's attack last December.

The boys, both from Leicester, were allowed to stand at the back of the court rather than in the dock at Wednesday's hearing.

They were granted bail after the case was adjourned until next month to allow pre- sentence and psychological reports to be prepared.

But Judge Simon Hammond warned them the incident was "very serious" and said custodial sentences could not be ruled out.
