Punks to rock at seaside festival
Punk fans in Morecambe
The annual festival has been running since 1996
Punk fans from all around the country are meeting in Morecambe this weekend for the annual "Wasted" festival.

In the past, festival organisers have dubbed the event the "Glastonbury of punk rock".

This year's acts include an acoustic set from Chumbawumba, Wayne Barratt and JP, Toyah and Arthur Kitchener.

The festival first took place in Blackpool in 1996, before moving to Morecambe the following year.

The event is also a big money-spinner for the town's tourist economy, bringing in thousands of pounds for the region's hotels and guesthouses.
