Library shuts after arson attack
Books
Books have been smoke-damaged
A library in Lancashire will be closed for up to a month after it was damaged in an arson attack.

The fire was started in a letterbox in the main front doors at Bispham library in Blackpool.

The porch area has been badly affected and books have been damaged by the smoke. The damage is expected to cost several thousand pounds to fix.

The library will be closed for three to four weeks. An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
