Three men have been charged over allegations of racial abuse against Birmingham City player Dwight Yorke. Yorke said he had faced taunts during the game with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Sunday 21 November.
Shaun Baxter, 35, of Belper Street, Brian Hargreaves, 20, and Andrew Roberts, 19, both of Arran Avenue in Blackburn, were arrested on Tuesday.
They are due to appear before Blackburn magistrates on Thursday on racially aggravated public order charges.
Police had arrested two men over the alleged attack in November.
Jason Perryman, 22, from Lawson Street in Chorley, admitted a racially aggravated public order offence on 24 November.
He was fined �1,000 and banned from football grounds for five years.
David Ashcroft, 21, of Brantwood Drive, Leyland, denied the same charge and was bailed to reappear in court on 22 December.
Lancashire Police say the clubs have been informed of the latest arrests.
