It is the second time Mr Blatter has been to the museum
The president of the international footballing body Fifa has been inducted into the National Football Museum's hall of fame on Saturday.

Sepp Blatter also opened an exhibition at the museum in Preston, Lancashire to mark Fifa's centenary.

It is the second time Mr Blatter has visited the attraction, as he inaugurated the building in 1998.

Bosses at the museum said it was a "tremendous honour" to welcome him back to the museum.

Museum spokesman Mark Bushell said Fifa's centenary is a "major landmark" in the history of world football.

The exhibition has been made possible through funding from the North West Development Agency.
